TT Games took the stage at The Game Awards to present a new chapter for Gotham’s hero in the LEGO universe. LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight received its first gameplay trailer and had its release date confirmed: the game will launch on May 29, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC.

The showcased footage featured never-before-seen scenes from the adventure and made it clear that the title focuses on an entirely new story, with no direct connection to previous games in the series. In terms of gameplay, the new LEGO Batman will feature significant changes.
