GTA

The new GTA Online DLC, A Safehouse in the Hills, not only expanded the multiplayer mode content but also reignited intense debates about the franchise’s future. The update marks the return of Michael De Santa, a character who hadn’t appeared officially since GTA 5, and introduced narrative elements that many players see as possible hints toward GTA 6.

Released for free to all players, the content allows the purchase of mansions in the hills of Los Santos, adds new activities, and features appearances by Michael and Amanda De Santa. However, what drew the most attention wasn’t the missions or properties, but specific lines of dialogue inserted throughout the story, especially near the end of the DLC.

The detail that put Jimmy De Santa at the center of theories

Much of the speculation revolves around Jimmy De Santa, Michael’s son. In a dialogue within the DLC, Amanda comments that the family has entered a new phase of life, noting that the children have moved out. In one specific line, she mentions that Jimmy is moving, which many players considered too unusual to be just a casual remark.

Additionally, some users reported receiving text messages attributed to Jimmy, in which he says he is “moving to another state.” These messages do not appear consistently for all players—possibly indicating bugs, tests, or later adjustments—but they were enough to fuel more elaborate theories.

The central point of speculation is that GTA 6 will be set in Vice City and a new fictional state inspired by Florida. For part of the community, Jimmy’s move could subtly connect him to the setting of the next game. This idea isn’t easily dismissed, given Rockstar’s history of reusing secondary characters and creating narrative links between different titles in the series.

A frequently cited example is Trevor, whose introduction in GTA 5 included indirect references to events and characters from GTA 4 and its DLCs, without ever making it explicit.

So far, there is no official confirmation that Jimmy De Santa will appear in GTA 6. Nevertheless, the timing of the DLC, the carefully placed dialogues, and Rockstar’s narrative patterns reinforce the sense that the studio might be planting seeds for what’s to come—even if it only makes sense years later.

GTA 6 price remains undefined

Regarding GTA 6’s price, Rockstar remains silent. However, recent rumors suggest the game could cost between R$500 and R$600 in Brazil. In the international market, analysts estimate a base price of around US$80, following the trend of price adjustments for major industry releases.[wpdiscuz]
