Brazilian creator

With voices recorded by the team itself and unconventional mechanics, Master Lemon emerges from a delicate narrative about affection, memories, and human connections. Developed in Brazil, the project goes beyond entertainment, carrying a rare emotional weight in the indie scene.

Every week, hundreds of new games arrive on Steam, the main showcase for PC titles. Amid this intense flow, few games manage to stand out for their concept. Among them, a national release gained attention not just for its aesthetics or gameplay, but for the story that inspired it. Master Lemon: The Quest for Iceland is the result of a deeply personal creative process.

The idea for the game did not originate in a meeting room or from market analysis. It began during a moment of emotional fragility, turning the loss of a loved one into creative fuel. From this experience, the small studio Pepita Digital found in games a way to process feelings and share a universal message.

In the story, players follow Limão on an expedition through Icelandic lands, where a strange threat erases memories. The mechanics and narrative work together to represent the fear of forgetting and the struggle to preserve what gives life meaning. Visually, the game employs pixel art and a contemplative atmosphere to reinforce this concept.

The title marks Pepita Digital’s debut in game development, a significant step for a small team of five professionals with a solid background in audiovisual production. Despite their inexperience in the gaming industry, the team embraced an authorial approach, prioritizing story, symbolism, and emotion.[wpdiscuz]
